Hardwood floor using colonial oak and pioneer ash.

The combined living room and dining room floor covers about 530 sq. ft.  The pioneer ash is used to make two contrasting lines around the entire room.  In addition, three interlocking patterns were installed within the two lines -- two in the hallway corners (see images A and B) and one in the center front (far left).

Lord Nelson Grandfather Clock made from East Indian Rosewood. No wood filler was used and all wood components were joined by either biscuit joints or with 12 dozen wood screws. Fitting was not to a 10 thousandths of an inch - it was exact!

Image A- Shows the fluted columns and the beveled plate glass side panel with a turned handle attached.

Image B- Is a close-up view of the clock face. The solid brass movement is a triple chime Hermle movement with a lace dial and a lyre pendulum.
